Winthrop Youth Soccer's registration portal remains open as the volunteer-led program enters its summer session.

WINTHROP -- No high school athletic contests were scheduled for the week of June 22–28, per available scheduling sources. The Winthrop High School athletics page notes the program fields 25-plus sports teams competing in the Northeast Conference, with Athletic Director Mark DeGregorio overseeing the Vikings' more than 200 athletes per season; no new results or announcements were posted for this period.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Winthrop Youth Soccer, which has served the community for more than 40 years, continues to accept registrations for its in-town and travel programs at reg.sportspilot.com/105707/leagues. The organization's most recent posted announcement, dated March 19, 2026, referenced its annual meeting. The program serves players from preschool through high school and operates without tryouts, standings, playoffs, or all-star designations, emphasizing participation and development.
