Winthrop Sale Prices Span $155,000 to $550,000 in Latest Recorded Deeds

Suffolk County Registry of Deeds recorded 16 Winthrop property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only three listed a sale price, ranging from $155,000 to $550,000, with a median of $155,000. The period's top recorded sale was 5 Johnson Terrace at $550,000, transferred from Carmine Sodano to Citizens Bank NA. Hagman Road saw three deeds, all involving Cawthorne family sellers. Nine of the 16 deeds named a bank, credit union or mortgage servicer as a party, and five transfers involved condominium units. With price data unavailable for 13 of 16 transfers, the period's overall market tone cannot be determined from this data alone.
